    Upcoming Disciple Classes

    Disciple classes being offered – Here is a list of Disciple classes that will be offered in the fall throughout our district. Contact the church to let them know if you plan to attend a class. If your church will offer any of the classes, please let Julie in the District Office know. There are always people looking for opportunities to attend a class.

    Disciple I:  This is the first course (34 weeks) in the Disciple series that serves as the basis for all the other Disciple classes.  Pendleton Center UMC, 6864 Campbell Blvd., N. Tonawanda (716-625-8306) on Tuesdays beginning in September; led by Julane Beck, CLM. Amherst: Asbury UMC, 850 Dodge Rd., Getzville (716-688-8677) on Wednesdays beginning September 21 led by Rev. Cheryl Brown. This one is a “fast track” 24 week program that still meets the requirements for clergy candidates.  Indian Falls UMC, 7908 Alleghany Rd., Corfu will offer the traditional Disciple I class on Sunday evenings. The first class will be Sunday, September 11 from 6:00-8:30pm. Please call the church at 585-762-9105 to register.

    Disciple II: This 32 week study offers a deeper examination of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts, emphasizing the rhythm of coming to God and going for God.  Pendleton Center UMC, 6864 Campbell Blvd., N. Tonawanda (716-625-8306) on Mondays beginning in September; led by Linda Barczykowski, CLM.
