    Equalization Members Needed!

March 6, 2018 / By Beth Holdridge / .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

We are again asking for interested persons to apply to be an Equalization Member.

What is an Equalization Member? They are lay people who are able to vote on business items at Annual Conference to have an equal balance of clergy and lay people.

Please note that there are a couple of changes this year. ** Annual Conference will begin on Wednesday, May 30, so you will need to be able to arrive by that time.  ** Also, only one adult Equalization Member will be accepted from a church/charge. Any number of youth or young adults may be selected from a church/charge.  The final selection will be made by the District Superintendent and District Lay Leader.

Do not register for Annual Conference until you receive notification from the District Office!  More details can be found by reading Are You Interested? The application form is available in two formats – Word application and PDF application.

Applications are due in the District Office by Friday, March 9. You will be notified by March 19 whether or not you have been selected.
