Blessing the OnCenter

Clergy and laity invited to blessing of the OnCenter

The 3rd Session of the Upper New York Annual Conference will open in earnest at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 when Area Resident Bishop Marcus Matthews calls the session to order at OnCenter in Syracuse. An hour earlier, the OnCenter will be bathed in prayers as the clergy and lay members gather to bless the venue, where they will congregate for the annual meeting. Adirondack District Superintendent Bill Mudge will lead people through the facility, culminating in a community prayer at the center table. All lay and clergy members are invited to participate in this blessing of the OnCenter beginning at 5 p.m.
