Mission Celebration

The Mission Celebration, to be held 7 - 9 p.m. Wednesday June 8th, is an opportunity to celebrate how the Spirit is empowering ministry through our annual conference.  Using the bold mandate of Acts 1:8 to be Christ's witnesses  "in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth,"  we'll give witness to the many ways Upper New York United Methodists "living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and being God's love to our neighbors in all places."  Using multimedia and personal testimony, witnesses from several UNYAC local churches, conference ministries and General Church organizations will offer inspirational stories of how real people are making a real difference in the lives of their neighbors.  Mark Miller and the band will be on hand to keep things rocking and the Africa University Choir will take the stage during the final hour to bless everyone with their ministry of music. It's going to be an incredible evening of celebration!
