Rev. Hill preaching at Trinity UMC (Albany)

The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill, dean of Marsh Chapel at Boston University and elder of the Upper New York Annual Conference, will preach at the 10 a.m. service on June 10 at Trinity United Methodist Church (UMC), 235 Lark St., Albany.

In addition to his duties as dean of the chapel, Rev. Hill is a professor of New Testament and Pastoral Theology at Boston University. He is the author of five books; a sixth, ready for publication, is Signs of Hope in United Methodism. Rev. Hill's most recent appointment in UNYAC was as pastor of Asbury First UMC in Rochester.

Rev. Hill is coming to Trinity UMC for the baptism of his newest granddaughter. He and his wife Janette's son Ben, their daughter-in-law, Anne, and two of their grandchildren and Anne's father, Bob Pennock, are members of Trinity UMC.
